With Boardcrafter Design’s ability to print snowboard templates at 1:1 scale using a standard printer and the introduction of the free shapes library the need for preprinted templates has been eliminated.
The snowboard templates previously available in the Boardcrafter shop have been removed. The shop still provides component snowboard materials and software registration keys.
Hey Dante, I was hoping you could help me on a couple things I had questions on. first, do you have plans fro the mold box? I can get a pretty good Idea of how to build it by watching the videos, but i was wondering if you had plans that I could follow. Second is about the printer. is this just an older style printer that uses the perferated sides, or do they currenty make printers with that side roll? if so, what are they called? thanks

Hey Joe, someone recently shared with me some 3D renderings of the snowboard mold I use. I'll ask him if he'd be willing to share those images on the forum.
As for the printer I do use a wide 'old style' dot-matrix printer. I bought it at a used computer shop for $25. I think this is the way to go if you're on a budget. The new ones are marketed as plotters and are a lot more expensive.
You also have the option of printing using a regular printer. Here is a video I put together a while ago to that covers this approach.

thanks, yea I was wondering if the printer was just an old dot matrix printer. Im gonna go to good will or something and see if I can find one. I dont know if the printer cable will hook up to my computer or not but im sure they make some kind of adapter. as far as the mold I don't really need full plans just demensions will be fine. I looks like its about 7-8ft long, about 2ft wide and about 1 1/2 feet tall. am I close?
