Boardcrafter Design v1.0.1 is now available for download. This release addresses two bugs described in the release notes. The old software keys for v1.0.0 will still function for this bug fix release so re-registration of the software is not required.

What would you say is the best method to profile a core if you don't have access to a pre-profiled one and you have to make it from scratch?

My method was:
1. Had the wood core at the correct max thickness I wanted.
2. You know that as you move from the middle of the core to the tips it starts to get thinner. A Belt Sander does amazing work. I suggest using one of these with a rough grit and just keep moving back and fourth taking little bites and making sure youre keeping your core level as you decrease in thickness. I gauged my thickness by already having my side walls glued to my core so I was able to follow that.

I hope this helps.
